movie: Evil Dead 2

in this still, you can see that the character Ash is covered in blood and a dirty blue shirt while the actor donning a crazed smile. These aspects all heavily contribute to a common theme of insanity, how he has no grasp of whats going on and his appearance. During this still and scene Ash is standing inside an old Abandoned creepy cabin surrounded by inanimate props suddenly becoming animate, further developing on the theme of insanity.

Terminator 2 has the genre of action while The Mask has the genre of comedy, that being primarily the biggest difference between the two. in the Terminator 2 flower scene you watch as the T800 played by Arnold Schwarzenegger ominously walks down an industrially themed corridor, dressed in a gritty fashion wearing all black while revealing a concealed weapon, all creating an idea of suspense as what will happen next is expected to be violence. However the Cuban Pete scene from The Mask, Played by Jim Carrey completely and distinctly differs to the Terminator 2 scene due to the characters cartoon-ish appearance and  characteristics, clearly highlighting the films genre. Although a comparison that can be made is how both scenes manage to create a feeling of suspense. Terminator 2 by ,previously mentioned, the characters actions and appearence, and The Mask through its dark setting ending up surrounded by police armed with guns, giving the audience an idea that they know whats coming next but how they also dont know whats coming next.
