Self assessment:

WWW: In my opinion I think for the most of it we nailed the camerawork and acting with the correct costumes and props which helped us greatly create the right feeling of the scene.

EBI: The set dressing was definitely our biggest problem as the scene starts with the room being quite messy with a flipped table on the floor, we still managed to pull the scene off but you can definitely feel that it was missing those minor details.

For the scene the main planning point for us was definitely setting as we needed a yellow room and with the correct lighting, things such as costume and lines were not an issue due to me already owning most items needed for my part and Mo having the correct costume on his part. Once we eventually found a place where we could film we filmed multiple takes of the whole scene from all the camera angles seen in the original scene, then when we got to editing we simply cut out the parts we needed from each take and combined them for our finished scene recreation.

I think choosing this scene for our first recreation in media was a great idea as it has taught us so much about how important the most miniscule details actually are and how greatly they can effect the entire feeling of a scene. The same goes for the camera angles and how perfect they have to be to correctly capture the scene and its entire feeling. Ive definitely learnt so much more about how to create a scene and how specific everything has to be which has me prepared greatly for whatever our next project actually is.

As mentioned previously weve learnt so much about how perfect certain details have to be to create the  right feeling or aesthetic for a scene and how essential every aspect of the Mise-en-scene actually is to a production, How the setting and its dressing need to be perfect, the camera angles and how important the different angles are, we also found out how important the lighting of a scene is too and how much of a difference it makes to the camera. Overall this assignment as a whole has taught me alot about Mise-en-scene and its every aspect and detail.
