To begin with, a highly noticeable theme within this scene is the drastic changes in the pace. These changes between the fast and slow motion happen when we see the main character of the scene Quicksilver first enters the current setting and when he then leaves the location. The constant use can give the audience a form of heads up as to when he is going to appear and when he leaves. With the use of these constant drifts between fast and slow motion, a form of montage where he is saving a different person or persons in each different scene and room, which can be used as a potential inference to show the characters abilities, the constant change in what hes doing and who hes saving. Additionally there is a second montage with the reactions and aftermath of events, how everyone is confused with what just happened which again shows Quicksilver`s speed and how people view it. The use of juxtaposition in this scene is quite low, however one noticeable moment is at the near beginning of the clip where Quicksilver is looking at the setting, where it then cuts to a closeup of the business card he was holding. This was potentially done to establish the setting to the audience as we are given a long-shot first of the setting, and then the name of the location. This also helps audiences identify the characters intentions as the use of his speed creates a form of urgency to save lives which tells the audience the characters alignment. Transition wise there are no significant transitions present in the scene except from the common jump cut from room to room, which could also be used as a potential symbol to again the speed and power of the character. Continuity wise there are many scenes where Quicksilver is running from one angle and then switches to a separate camera angle in another room, a prime example also being the start where you watch Quicksilver running off from his original stance at the start of the scene to a closeup of him running into the mansion at the halfway gap from the road to the mansion.

To talk about mise-en-scene, we can talk about firstly how clamps helps identify and portrays the character of Quicksilver in the scene, his costume having certain aspects which are stereotypical to the kind of speed superhero he is, example being the goggles he wears to protect his eyes from such things that could cause him harm in slow motion, like dust or bugs. And additionally how the colour of his costume and hair are both mostly silver, creating a reference back to the characters name. With actor placement there are many different scenarios where people have been slowed down in their everyday activities which Quicksilver has to potentially save them in a different way. This whole aspect helps create and give the scene certain comedic aspects. e.g. where the boy is doing his hair or where the dog is eating pizza. The previously mentioned sense of urgency can be further expanded upon through the idea of setting. This is through the presence of the explosion slowly eating away at the building and slowly reaching each frozen character, giving Quicksilver the need to hurry up as people will die if he doesnt, which also helps build a sense of suspense for the audience as we can see how children are practically standing on the explosion, creating a will they wont they situation with their lives at stake.

Within the scene, a heavy contributor to the comedic and suspenseful nature of the clip as a whole is sound. The first instance where we see Quicksilver with the closeup of his foot panning up to his body the song Sweet dreams (are made of this) by Eurythmics begins to play. This is an example of diagetic sound as we can see that he is wearing headphones and the previously stated fact that the second his foot fell into shot the music began. This is also an example of contrapuntal sound as the song doesnt really fit the theme of urgency thats currently present. This helps signify to the audience the personality of Quicksilver as the use of such song during such a dire time shows his comedic nature. Another example of his comedic nature is through the use of props, an example being the twinkie he is eating or was in the process of eating at the start of the clip, signifying his lack of formality as he was originally planning to enter a school before the explosion began.
